Build Workplace Movement Culture

Organisations that prioritise employee movement wellness see improvements in engagement, productivity, and workplace culture. We design and deliver customised programmes tailored to your team's needs and constraints.

Our Workplace Programme Approach

Tailored to your organisation's size, industry, and culture.

1

Assessment & Planning

We conduct an on-site assessment of your workplace—physical environment, movement barriers, existing culture. Confidential staff consultation reveals priorities and constraints. From this, we design a customised programme aligned with your organisational goals.

2

Leadership Alignment

Sustainability requires leadership buy-in. We work with management to articulate wellness vision, address concerns, and build support for workplace movement integration. Leadership models the behaviour—this matters for cultural adoption.

3

Staff Education

We deliver interactive workshops (45–90 min) introducing habit formation science, integration strategies, and practical techniques. Participants leave with tools and a sense of possibility—not overwhelming lists of tasks.

4

Environmental Optimisation

Based on assessment, we recommend physical and procedural changes: stair visibility, standing meeting areas, activity corridors, walking meeting norms. Small design changes make movement the default choice.

5

Sustainability & Support

Optional ongoing support: monthly wellness newsletters, team challenges, follow-up coaching, and progress tracking. We help institutionalise movement culture—not a one-time event.

Typical Workshop Content

Interactive, evidence-based, practical. Staff leave with immediate tools and understanding.

Module 1: Habit Science (15 min)

Why willpower fails, how habits actually form, why most New Year's resolutions don't stick. Visual, accessible explanation of behaviour change principles.

Module 2: Movement Integration in Your Workday (20 min)

Practical strategies to integrate movement into existing routines—not new time demands. Habit-stacking, environmental design, micro-movements. Interactive examples from participants' own routines.

Module 3: Hands-On Practice (15 min)

Teach and practise 4–5 simple techniques participants can use immediately: desk resets, walking breaks, postural resets. Low-barrier, no equipment.

Module 4: Your 30-Day Plan (10 min)

Participants design their own 30-day integration plan using templates. Specific, realistic, anchored to their actual routine. Built-in tracking.

Module 5: Q&A & Support (10 min)

Address obstacles, share resources, build community. Participants learn from each other's solutions.

Environmental Redesign Recommendations

Small changes to physical space create lasting shifts in behaviour.

Stair Visibility & Access

Ensure stairs are visible and appealing (good lighting, clear signage). Stairs used multiple times daily dramatically increase movement volume without "exercise" framing.

Walking Meeting Routes

Designate pleasant indoor and outdoor routes for walking meetings. Shade, weather protection, and inspiring views increase uptake.

Standing Meeting Zones

Dedicated standing areas for casual meetings and team huddles. Not height-adjustable desks—just standing-height surfaces that naturalise standing.

Hydration Station Placement

Position water/coffee stations strategically to require walking. Refill rituals become movement opportunities.

Desk Configuration

Support standing and sitting variety. Height-adjustable surfaces or desk risers allow postural variation without major capital expense.

Active Commute Support

Bike storage, shower facilities, secure parking, carpool matching. Small infrastructure shifts dramatically increase active commuting.
